Sleep Mart is a local mattress store in Mountain Home, Arkansas. This page explains what information our website, SleepMartMH.com, collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we use what you send us only to answer you and then delete it, we use cookies to run the site and to see whether our Google ads lead to calls and messages, and we do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

This website is run by Sleep Mart, 701 Hwy 62E Suite B, Mountain Home, AR 72653. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means Sleep Mart.

Information you send us

Our contact page has a form that asks for:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number (optional)
  • your message
  • photos of the furniture or mattress you're asking about (optional, up to 5)

If you send photos, we use them only to answer your question. We never publish them. A photo taken with a phone can include the place where it was taken (location data). You can remove that from the photo before you upload it. We delete your photos once we no longer need them to answer you.

We use this information only to answer you. Our website runs on Squarespace, and our store email uses Google (Gmail). When you send the form, Squarespace delivers your message to our store email and also keeps a copy in our Squarespace account until we delete it. Squarespace and Google handle messages under their own privacy policies. Where these services let us, we turn off extra storage and marketing features for form messages: our form is not connected to spreadsheets, mailing lists or marketing services.

To block spam, the form uses Google reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA checks whether the form is being filled in by a person, and it collects information about your device and how you use the page. That information goes to Google and is covered by the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Google Terms of Service (opens in a new tab).

We never sell your messages, add you to a mailing list or pass your details to a marketing service. We delete each message, from our email and from our Squarespace account, once your question is answered, or sooner if you ask us to. A deleted email can stay in our email trash for a short time before it is removed for good.

Please don't send card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through the form. Call us or visit the store instead.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our site uses them in three ways.

Cookies that keep the site working

Squarespace sets necessary cookies so the site loads correctly, stays secure and works as expected.

Squarespace site statistics

Squarespace also uses analytics cookies to give us basic statistics about our website, such as how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found us. Google Ads measurement

We advertise on Google, and the Google Ads tag loads on every page of our site. It helps us see whether our ads lead to real contact with the store. The tag records phone calls and contact form submissions as conversions: when someone taps or clicks a phone number link on our site or sends our contact form, it reports that to Google Ads. To do this, Google may set cookies or read similar identifiers in your browser.

Our site code does not send your name, email address, phone number or message to Google with these reports.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • answer your questions and messages
  • keep the website working and block spam
  • understand how people use our website
  • see whether our Google ads lead to calls and messages
  • handle your requests, such as deleting a message you sent us

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the companies that help us run this website and our store email, as described above: Squarespace (website, form storage and form email), Google (reCAPTCHA spam protection and Google Ads measurement) and Google (Gmail), which holds our store inbox. Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts to display text on some pages; when the fonts load, Google may receive your device's IP address. Other than the Google Ads measurement described above, we do not share information about your visits to our site for advertising.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other companies' websites. When you follow one of these links, you leave our site, and that company's privacy policy applies instead of ours. We don't control those sites.

If you apply with Synchrony or Acima, the information you enter on their application pages goes to that company and is handled under its privacy policy.

Your choices

  • Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The site will still work, but some features, such as the contact form's spam check, may not.
  • Google ads: you can manage how Google personalizes ads for you, or turn ad personalization off, in Google's My Ad Center (opens in a new tab).
  • The contact form is optional: you can call us or visit the store instead.
  • Messages you sent us: if you would like us to delete a message you sent through our contact form, let us know using the options under Contact us. We will delete it from our email and from our Squarespace account.

Children

Our website is meant for adults shopping for their homes. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
